Bari Sax Transcriber - Windows x64 portable edition

Extract the entire ZIP into a writable folder, then double-click
"Start Bari Sax Transcriber.cmd". A local browser window opens.
Keep the console window open while working. Press Ctrl+C there to stop.
Closing the browser alone does not stop the app.

Node.js, Java and Audiveris are bundled. No administrator access or separate
installation is needed to run. Recognition runs locally, not in Azure.
After downloading and extracting, the app works without internet access.
Audiveris may store settings/logs in your Windows user profile.

Use Windows 10/11 x64 and a modern browser. Audiveris can use up to 8 GiB of
Java heap, so 16 GiB or more total RAM is recommended for large scores.
Only one recognition job runs at a time. More CPU does not guarantee a
proportional speedup. Clean 300 DPI scans and fewer pages help.

MuseScore is not bundled. Export MusicXML from MuseScore and open that here,
or set MUSESCORE_CMD to your installed MuseScore executable before launching.

If Windows SmartScreen warns about the unsigned launcher, verify the ZIP's
SHA-256 against the matching windows-x64.zip.sha256 download and only run
files from a source you trust. Do not run directly inside the ZIP viewer.

Licenses and corresponding Audiveris source are included in licenses/.
The web interface, recognition API and transposition code are the same as
the hosted app. Uploaded files are processed on this PC.
